Mark's Christmas

Thanks to all those who contributed to the mass of letters for Mark. We ended up with 28 letters that I wrapped like presents. I also sent him this cute little tree. I think he will love it!

I tried to take a picture of it, but accidently ended up with a video. Hey, at least you can see the cute lights on the tree!!
We are so grateful for the love and support that Mark has received while serving his mission.

Homecoming Dance for Michele

Jessie took these pictures--they are way better than mine--Michele agrees. Its hard to believe this will be the last homecoming dance I will help (fixing dresses, picking up flowers, hair, and taking pictures) with. Its kind of sad really. She has a funny story, the other day she was in the shower getting ready for school and there is a little brown thing on the shower floor--not thinking to much she pushes it with the water towards the drain and proceeds to wash her hair. Only after that she looks down to see the brown thing has legs and is quite a large wolf spider. She jumps out of the shower screaming. I know it was serious--but I had a hard time not laughing when she told me. I guess I need to spray for bugs again.

Chase and Tally in the front yard

Jessie was in St George for an extended visit, while Matthew was back east. It was so much fun--I loved seeing them everyday.

What about Ella

Don't you love the pioneer clothes she picked out herself? This was a fun place for the kids to play--but it was stiffling hot. I know I was there.

The Butterfly museum

The butterflies were amazing--Mark is trying for the perfect picture of one. Dallin is just enjoying the ride.

More with the Nelson family

As you can see, we were having too much fun. Paul tried to sit Dallin the hole in the tree.

Visit with Paul, Kate, and kidos

Paul and Kate rented a mini-van and we went to Navoou. Kate and Dallin are in a childrens area. And Mark and Kate had just come from a session at the temple. Paul watched the little ones--so we could go. It was definitly a highlight.

Ava is a cutie

I got one of Ava sleeping with the blanket over her head.

More of our visit with Matt and Sara and mostly Ava

It was raining like I've never seen (there was a tornado watch) Ava loved it. And she likes dressing up.

Matt and Sara's house

Mark wanted to visit all his sisters before he left on his mission--to see all his nieces and nephews, and brother's. Ava really liked him.

Matt and Lori's new house

When we got to the new house in Logan--Maya needed a bath, but the tub was not the cleanest so the sink was the next best thing.

Finally we are out of there--Logan or bust:)

I was amazed at how many tools and machinery Matt had as you can see the van is nearly full. This was only the first load. When we were driving to Logan Maya was asleep in her carseat with blankets and pillows.

more of the move with Maya

Maya was so funny for this move--she does love her bed--we took it down to the platform but she knew it was still her bed.

Matt and Lori's move to Logan

While were moving we took time out to visit family--sorry this is so late--but I thought I lost these photos. I know Summer this is before you had your baby. It was a really yummy lunch--especially the choclate cake.

The best Christmas present

I was trying to tell Lori about my picture of Christ that Mark gave me for Christmas. I was having a hard time explaining--many of you know I have a lot of "Christ pictures". So here it is--I love it.

Michele, Braxton, and Kyla went to McDonalds

Michele put the pictures of her and Kyla together in black and white. It was a lot of fun.

Some more pictures of Mark--hopefully he doesn't hurt himself before his mission.
Sara do you recognize his snowboarding pants--he wrote something on them to make them more Mark friendly. :)

Mark the snowboarder

Mark came home the other night with these sweet pictures of him snowboarding. He says he has to take some time for fun.
